The Arran Heritage

Museum The museum hosts a number of great learning experiences. There is a gift shop, an exhibition showing what a house in the late 1900s would look like. There is also a part of the museum which lets you have an insight into how horse shoes were made. It is a really interesting experiencing and one which, if it was your first time visiting Arran , we would suggest.

The Castle

Bands

These are a few of the best bands on Arran:

Stumpy’s Cabin
District 32
The News Band
Neat Malt
Deep Joy
SubSciFish
The Bougillie Band

These bands do a lot of different gigs throughout the year including the obvious ones like New Year Eve or Burns Night and even St Andrews Day . Then there are the annual events which include Three In The Park, held on the playing fields in Whiting Bay (just to give that true festival field effect), Rugby Sevens Dances usually held on a Saturday Night in Brodick, Lamlash or Whiting Village Halls. These are but a few of some of the great occasions held all year round!
